Romanian star: Adina Salaoru

Adina Salaoru, player of the national team of Romania, showed her worth during the first European Games in Baku. Not only did Romania manage to score many points, but whenever a point was scored, Salaoru was involved. The 1.83-metre-tall Romanian has been a member of the Romanian volleyball team since 2008 and will also be present at the 2015 CEV DELA Volleyball European Championship – Women to be played late September in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The club Salaoru plays for is CS Vollei Blaj in her native country Romania. With this club, she won the Romanian competition last year. At 25 years of age, we’ll probably see a lot more of Adina Salaoru.

To start with, we’ll see her during the EC in the Netherlands and Belgium. Adina Salaoru and the Romanian team will play their matches during the 2015 CEV DELA Volleyball European Championship – Women in Indoor Sports Centre Eindhoven. In the strong Group D, they will meet the Czech Republic, Serbia and Germany. More information on the tournament and tickets can be found here.
